Have you tried using Drive mode? Plug in the T5 to any WinXP PC and tap on the Drive mode icon on your T5. You don't need Palm Desktop/Hotsync installed. Your T5 should work like a Thumbdrive. If you can, then there is no physical problem with the cable or USB connection. If you can't something is wrong and you probably need to swop your T5
Hey - are you Kim Hwee from USM? If you are (or even if you aren't), glad to have another medical colleague on Blogosphere. Mine (blog) is at The Tent though it's more of a place to plug writing.
Been using a T3 for almost a year now, after the Palm II, Palm IIIxe and Handera. Best thing I've ever owned. I've been brainless for 7 yrs now - everything is on my Palm.
welcome, i think one should update our own computer knowledge every now and then. otherwise it will be left out. I was quite left out when i stopped go online for almost 1 1/2 years when i was fed up with TM NUT>.
